POLITICS AND REGIONAL PARTIES

BHARATIYA JANATA PARTY V/S INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS - 2009
1947 TO 2009 Is a long time, out of which Congress ruled for 50 years. In the history of Indian Parliamentary system, Congress party won 414 seats in 1984 post Smt . Indira Gandhi era.
Bharatiya Janata Party has seen a low of 2 seats in 1984 and slowly increased it to the 182 in 1998 and 1999 General Elections.
Presently both the national parties are depending on regional parties in various states. Indian National Congress has to break it ties with R J D for the humiliation and decided to contest all the seats in Bihar. Similarly when B J P supremo was in Mumbai, the Shiv Sena Emperor did not spare his time for L K Advani jee, when requested for a meeting. The Biju Janata Dal snapped its with BJP for 2009 elections afraid back lash from adivasi Christians. After election tie up with BJP is not ruled out if BJP gets more seats and power at centre.
The Regional Parties have become very wise or crooked to join the single largest parties on their terms. When JD (s) joined hands with BJP in Karnataka and B S P joined with BJP on 30 months power sharing with first term to BSP and JD(S). The moment their turn is completed they denied to support the BJP for remaining period.
The corruption levels in South India is reached at its peak. BJP Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy is being criticised by top leadership of congress and at the same time close associate of Gali Janardhan Reddy Mr. C Ramachandra Reddy has been asked to contest the Assembly elections as Congress candidate in Rayadurg. It is rumored that it is to protect the interests of their mines - Obulapuram mining. It is open secret that Gali Janardhan Reddy given red carpet welcome in Andhra Pradesh for his Brahmani steels factory in Kadapa. Congress allotted thousands of acres for the factory and for the airport.
This is just tip of iceberg. It is difficult to wipe out the corruption, but not difficult to reduce.
Jai ho Congress and B J P. An elected Member of Legislative Assembly or Parliament does not bother to leave the party, if it helps his personal gains.
Mera Bharat Mahan --------- Jai Ho
