KARNATAKA - 2009 ELECTIONS

The position in Karnataka seems to be gloomy for Congress and J D(S). The BJP is very strong due to operation Kamala. Only chance for Congress right now is to join hands with JD(S) and turn the apple cart of BJP. There is anti incumbency factor, law and order situation, the moral policing of sri ram sena. But Congress and JD(S) are not in position to exploit the situation by forging alliance. There are rumours that Sri Bangarappa is pitted against Raghavendra (son of CM) and further Congress is exploring the chances of persuading Mr. Dayanayak (Encounter Specialist) to contest from Udupi on Congress ticket.
The Jaffer sharif factor has to be tackled diplomatically.
as per as the present situation the BJP will take major share. 15 to 21 seats. Congress and JD (S) will split the remaining.
The picture will be clear after final nominations are submitted. It has To be analysed on seat to seat basis. Some daisy issues for Congress like chickballapur seat, kolar in fighting between Mr. Muniappa and Mr. Sudhakar, Mr. Ambarish, Mr. Jalappa, Mr. Jaffer Sharif, Siddu and Kharge , the inner party rivalry in BJP will come in fore front after the final lists and nominations are completed. Lets wait and see as these elections will become a blot on Parliamentary history by high Corruption and unethical practices pre and post elections by all parties. The task of Election Commissioner is tough and the infighting between top brass is also a hindrance to the day today affairs.
Good luck to JD (S) , Congress and B J P. My only hope the winners will not forget the votes and their woes. Jai Ho Congress - Massakalli BJP and Namma JD(S). Lets discuss post nominations.
good day
